2003 Pictures
Larry with a Fi Carol Phillips visited Larry during the Thanksgiving period. Her gift to him from the webmasters was a toy Fi, which she had handmade holding its own miniture bottle of Glen Niven Whiskey. When Larry saw it he remarked, "obviously why the Fi lost the war!". World Con 2002 Pictures:

Ted and Carol finally meet At about 11.37 am local time, at San José airport on 28 August 2002, the long standing lack of any face to face contact between the three larryniven.org managers became a thing of the past. Carol Phillips stepped out of the passenger exit and we met.
It's been a long wait! Almost six years since we first made contact, as an outcome of our being subbed to the old Niven mail list, around 10 September 1996.

Carol Phillips' nimble fingers have been at it again, this time creating Star Wars costumes. During Comic Con 2002, Carol dressed as Senator Padme Amidala and also dressed Larry up as Anakin Skywalker, complete with lightsabre.
